Maybe it's Maybelline

Image
I've been using the Maybelline Dream LIQUID mousse foundation for years now. It's lightweight and it isn't too oily. But if you use the wrong shade, your skin tone may look ashy so it really depends on your skin type and which shade works best for you. Although the Maybelline dream LIQUID mousse foundation works great, the highlighting concealer isn't that great. It's similar to the foundation but for some reason it doesn't apply on that easily, like you need to rub it hard in order for the concealer to blend in nicely. It may work for some people, but I don't like it at all.

ColourPop Poppin'

ColourPop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are a must have. They're matte and they look gorgeous! I own the shades "Love Bug," "Times Square," "Wild Nothing," "Tulle," and "Beeper." If you're looking for a dark, brownish orangey red color, Love Bug is perfect for you. But if you're going for a more casual pink color, I would recommend Times Square and Beeper. The lip liners from ColourPop are also great. The only product I had an issue with was the "highlighter." I put quotes on highlighter because it actually looks like silver eye shadow rather than a nice glowy highlighter. But yea, other than that the ColourPop lip products are a definite must-have!

Crazy for Clinique

Image
I love Clinique eye-shadow palettes and mascara, but the Clinique Lipsticks have some flaws. From my experience, each lipstick gives a different feel. My favorite shade of Clinique lipsticks is A Different Grape. This color is sooo pretty. It's not too dark or light and it applies on smoothly. However, the shade Matte Magenta was kind of chalky, even though it was pigmented in color. It was like a creamy pink chalk. And when I twisted the lipstick all the way, it broke. I also don't like the shade Beauty because it feels really glossy and doesn't give off much color. So basically, if you want to try Clinique products, go for the eye-shadow palettes, the mascaras, and the lipstick in shade "A Different Grape."

Milani Maniac

Image
Every makeup aisle in a drugstore always carries Milani products. Although I'm not a huge fan of Milani products, I do buy their lipsticks. Their lipsticks are perfect for everyday use. They give a creamy, glossy kind of texture. They're not like matte lipsticks, so if you rub your lips or eat food, the lipstick will definitely come off. But other than that, they're great. The colors are super pretty and you can apply the lipstick on really easily. It's soft and moist and it doesn't shed off your lips. I would recommend the shade Nude Crème if you want natural look. But the three that I use (shown in the picture) are 43 Pretty Natural, 29 Teddy Bare, and 42 Rose Femme. 42 Rose Femme is my absolute favorite because it gives a dark rosy pink color. But it all depends on what type of shade you're looking for and whether or not you like lighter or darker colors.

e.l.f cosmetics? Top 3 Best Products

Image
Yes, yes, yes. So even though e.l.f is super inexpensive and may not do the magic makeup from Sephora does, e.l.f has some amazing products that I use all the time and would highly recommend. The #1 product that e.l.f sells is their Oil-Free SPF 15 Sunscreen Flawless Finish Foundation. This foundation is very thick and gives full coverage. Its perfect to use as a base foundation for your face. The second best e.l.f product is the intense e.l.f ink Eyeliner. Honestly this product is AMAZINGGG. Like it legit takes me 5 seconds to wing my eyes. And the quality of the ink is so rich. The product also lasts for years. I have an ink pen that's been working for 1 1/2 years now. And that's coming from someone who uses this ink pen every single day. So, the 3rd best product from e.l.f is their HD Lifting Concealer in the shade Fair. I use this concealer to contour certain parts of my face. It's perfect if you want a quick touch-up or if your just want to brighten certain parts of ...

Introduction

Hey loves! As a makeup lover, I've decided to dedicate this blog to makeup only. I'll be writing about my favorite makeup products and talking about the pros and cons of different foundations, eye shadow palettes, eyeliner, powders, etc. I'm not currently promoting any companies for my benefit, so all these reviews are 100% accurate! Stay tuned for my first post!
